We are rapidly expanding and looking for happy and positive individuals who love ice cream as much as we do to join our ice cream shop family! Position Summary The Evening Ice Cream Churner is responsible for churning and hand-packing pints and tubs of ice cream.
They ensure the quality of distribution of add-ins and swirls, cleanliness, texture, and appearance of all ice cream.

Communicate concerns or issues directly to the kitchen manager, be open to feedback & creative problem solving Assume positive intent, take initiative & lead by example Duties and Responsibilities Complete all items on cleaning checklists as required Consistently add mix-ins and swirls to achieve desired distribution and the highest aesthetic quality.
No air bubbles!!! Ensure pints & tubs are properly labeled, dated, and stored Complete all ice cream production within allotted scheduled time Maintain cleanliness and organization of any item and equipment related to churning (machines, freezers, carts, labeling station, gloves, stickers, etc.
) and discarding old/unusable products and equipment (with permission from the kitchen manager) Communicate freezer temperatures, pints & tubs churned, low ingredients, and any other notes or requests to churning supervisor Qualifications 1-2
years kitchen experience preferred 1-2
years pastry experience is a plus Great, legitimate professional references Reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand 8
hours a day Patience with repetitive tasks A Food Handler certificate or one obtained within 30 days of hire Non-slip shoes required Essential Functions Maintain a flexible schedule Able to communicate clearly and professionally with team members (face-to face or by telephone) Able to read and comprehend written material Able to stand for shifts lasting up to, but not limited to, 9 hours of time on tile flooring Perform tasks which involve repetitive motion including, but not limited to the use of arms, hands, wrists, back Follows standard procedures in the use of all kitchen appliances, equipment, utensils, etc.
Able to adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations Able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls Able to work in variable temperature conditions, such as below freezing temperatures Manage one's time and the time of others Lift 50# Job Type:
