Job Description:
We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team.
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, child support, adoption, name changes, and other related issues.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior attorneys, collaborate with a talented team, and handle your own caseload while maintaining high standards of legal excellence and client service.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple cases, and all aspects of family law litigation matters from initial consultation to final resolution of the case.
Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information for other attorneys and support staff.
Prepare motions, discovery, pleadings, orders, and decrees.
Legal research, writing and analysis.
Attending hearings, mediations, and trials.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
Stay updated on changes in family law and related regulations.
Qualifications:
Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
3 years of experience handling family law cases preferred Ability to track billable hours.
Computer technology:
MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe.
